Final Day of Dissertation Camp

Today I began to tackle the transcription for a case study (part of my dissertation). This is a summer goal, so it felt good to get a start on the last day of camp. This time has been productive--I wrote and submitted a conference proposal, got a good 10+ pages of text for one of my chapters, and started the transcription.... Hoping the rest of the summer is this productive!!

Day 7 Reflection

Had a productive day today! I realized I could incorporate something I did in a conference presentation into the chapter I'm working on, so I bought myself an entire extra page of text. :) :) :)

Day 7

Well, I submitted the proposal I had been working on and I got on antibiotics yesterday, so things are looking up! Hoping to get more work done on the lit review today. I am meeting with my advisor at 2 and want to have something to show her!

Day 6 Reflection & Goals

Yesterday was a bit difficult because I was dealing w/ tooth pain--it reminded me of how important phyical health is for any part of our lives. It is nearly impossible to work when you are in pain. I did manage to get the rest of that proposal together yesterday--w/ ibuprofen as my assistant. Today I hope to make more progress on my narrative inquiry lit review in the methods section. A paragraph or two would be great.

Day 5 (Week 2) Goals

Today I am going to read over what I did last week and re-orient myself. Next I hope to get a few more paragraphs together for my lit review.

Day 4: Goals

I'm going to work a little more with the data today and then when I get burnt out on that, I'm going to return to the lit review and re-read what I wrote the first day. Perhaps revise it a bit.

Day 3: small success

Today was choppy but I did end up with a solid paragraph for the conference proposal related to my dissertation research.
